The Power of Talk Story, Unleashed

In Hawaiian culture, "talk story" is a way of sharing information, passing time, and fostering connection. Information was passed from generation to generation through the use of verbal storytelling. It's a relaxed and informal way to share personal experiences, stories, and opinions with others, much like "shooting the breeze" or "chatting" in other cultures. It's a key part of Hawaiian culture, used to connect with others and build relationships.

You can take the girl of Hawaii, but you can't take Hawaii out of the girl. No matter where I am in the world...

My Hawaii upbringing and the Hawaiian culture will always be part of who I am. My Hawaii roots never forgotten. As a (now) 12+ year resident (2012 to present) in the state of New York, the Hawaiian concepts of aloha, kokua, and kuleana remain part of me. The same with "talk story" in terms of how I communicate with others in personal and professional settings.

My approach to public speaking engagements will have the feel of "talking story" in the words and emotions that I am sharing with my audience. Words matter, as does nonverbal communication. In the motivational speeches that I deliver, my main goals are to inspire and motivate an audience to take action, overcome challenges, and achieve their goals.

As an Artist, I see the world in black, white, gray, and all the rainbow of colors in between. Through the words that I am painting in the minds of my audience...

My aim is to instill a sense of purpose, positivity, and empowerment...Encouraging individuals to embrace change and realize their full potential.
